A brief preview of the Glade VR experience, with Dynamic Day/Night Ambient Sound System.

The environment has been built in Unreal Engine 4, using a selection of assets and systems from Megascans and the Marketplace.

The Glade environment features the Orbit time-of-day system and has been matched with an adaptive dynamic time-of-day ambient soundscape system, implemented using Audiokinetic’s Wwise.

In this clip, time-of-day progression and the frequency at which the ambient sound effects are triggered have been sped up significantly, and the volume of the soundscape has been increased, for demonstration purposes.
