I’m James Witham, a Sound Recordist, Designer, Mixer and Engineer from London, England.
Professionally I work as a Dubbing Mixer for a large international broadcaster and have worked on big titles like the A Voyage of Discovery: The Ocean Race mini-series, and countless other programmes and promos. In my own time I am involved in a variety of other separate projects, from short-film audio recording and mixing; to game effects sound design; and music composition.
I am Audiokinetic Wwise101 Certified, and was the sound recordist and mixer on the winning entry of the Filming East Festival 2019 Short Film category, ‘Sandwich’.
Rift Audio is the umbrella name I use for my PERSONAL project work, and this website has a selection of some of the things I’ve worked on across the years. Whilst unaffiliated with the ‘Rift Audio’ name, I’ve also included a few select pieces of PROFESSIONAL broadcast short-form promo material I’ve worked on.
